  17. The first snow ( by Evaleen Stein)
    The snow! the snow! Whoop! Hooray! Ho! Ho!
    Plunge in the deep drifts and toss it up so!
    Rollick and roll in the feathery fleece
    Plucked out of the breasts of the marvelous geese
    By the little old woman who lives in the sky;
    Have ever you seen her? No, neither have I!
    All the seasons are great. But winter is children`s favourite season.
    Winters helps you enjoy long morning walks and fresh air. Winter is the season of festival and gifts. Christmas falls in the month of December, a happy and joyful month. Everyone will be in the festive mood of celebrating and baking the cakes and many more delicacies spread their aroma.
    The essence of winter cannot be described in one word. It is the hot cup of tea in the morning. It is the warmth you get from the fireplace. The fun of making a snowman is what forms the essence of winter.
    This project is a wonderful opportunity to present the fairy of winter in front of our eyes.

Easter Folar - Portuguese tradition, Margarida Paim, EBI Praia da Vitória

  At Easter we have several typical dishes, but the best known is the Easter Folar. Easter bread is the traditional Easter bread in Portugal, made with water, salt, eggs and wheat flour. The form, content and preparation varies according to the regions of Portugal and ranges from normal to salty, in the most diverse forms. In some recipes, it is topped with a hard-boiled egg. In other places they make sweet folar.(wikipedia) To experience the traditions, we make Easter Folares. We invited colleagues from the other kindergarten classes at our school to watch and collaborate with us in its preparation and we took the opportunity to publicize our project.
