Easter Folar - Portuguese tradition, Margarida Paim, EBI Praia da Vitória

 At Easter we have several typical dishes, but the best known is the Easter Folar. Easter bread is the traditional Easter bread in Portugal, made with water, salt, eggs and wheat flour. The form, content and preparation varies according to the regions of Portugal and ranges from normal to salty, in the most diverse forms. In some recipes, it is topped with a hard-boiled egg. We invited colleagues from the other kindergarten classes at our school to watch and collaborate with us in its preparation and we took the opportunity to publicize our project.
